Dr. Negoi completed her Nephrology Fellowship in 2004 at the University of Missouri – Columbia. After graduation, she joined the faculty at the same institution, initially as Assistant Professor and later on she advanced to Associate Professor. She also served as Medical Director of the University’s Medical Specialty Clinic from 2006 to 2010.
From 2010 to 2017, she was Associate Professor of Medicine in the Nephrology Division at the University of Vermont in Burlington, and Medical Director of the Home Dialysis Program at University of Vermont Medical Center. In 2017, Dr. Negoi left academia to explore the world of private practice and spent two years in Anchorage, Alaska. In 2019, Dr. Negoi and her husband decided to return to the Northeast to make a home for themselves and Belgian horses in Ithaca, NY.
