Dr. Lee completed her undergraduate studies at Harvard University and graduated from medical school at the University of Florida. She began training in General Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she also spent two years performing research in the mechanisms of immune tolerance in neonatal gene therapy. She was awarded research grants from the Society of University Surgeons-Ethicon Scholarship Award and an NIH T32 training grant to support her work and has presented at multiple national and regional meetings. She went on to complete General Surgery training at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and fellowship training in Endocrine Surgery at Columbia University, joining CMA in the fall of 2018.
